Ashley McDermott

Ashley McDermott is an actor, dancer, music producer and recording artist. She was born in NewOrleans, LA and moved to Texas after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She became a resident inTexas. She graduated from North Mesquite High School & and Richland Community College with two Associate degrees. She has always love music and dance. From being in choirs and watching dance movies such as Break in dance, Dirty Dancing, Fame, Save the Last Dance, Honey, Step-up, etc. as well as recording artists who can dance and sing, such as Aaliyah, Usher, TLC, Michael Jackson, and etc. She was so admired and attraction to their moves and singing ever since she a child. She decided to learn and studies their moves as she freestyle dance into her own. Ever since she has been self-taught to become an entertainment person, she decided to take dance, music and actor classes at the college and workshops. She has performed her guitar, singing, dancing at El Centro college and Sam Ash (etc.) Also, she played the deaf character in "This disability"; at El Centro college and others. Throughout her experiences, she realized there wasn't a dance class for deaf/ASL Community or deaf instructor who teaches dance class in Texas. She decided to take leaps and jump to start her V.I.P (VisionaryImpossiblePeople) non-profit organization for ASL/Dance Community. She did her first V.I.P organization event in March at the Power House of Dallas in Dallas, TX. Throughout 2017 to now, she has been teachingASL Dance Class at the DFC Headquarters, Studio 6A Dance Academy, Center For Dance,Contemporary Ballet Dallas and etc. She is a groundbreaking artist. She is always working hard to become the next big thing. Her motto is always &"Don't stop, Won't Stop until I'm make to the top"; And & "Never give up your dream. If you believe it, go chase it."
