Dates To Know

While this event has evolved over the years, this is now the one football game a year where every concert band student performs on the field and in the stands.

October concert where the High School South Choir performs, the bands perform, and then we end with a combined closer.

The South and North bands combine to help honor local veterans by marching in the Stroudsburg/East Stroudsburg parade.

Traditionally in January, our winter concert often now includes some way for us to give back to the community as we collect donations for a local cause.

The South elementary, middle, and high school students all perform at this concert.  Each group works with our guest conductor/composer. 

A celebratory annual event for our (Stroudburg/East Stroudsburg) community.

Originally called Adjudications, MPA's give ensembles a chance to perform for many quality band judges (often college professors).  The PMEA MPA includes a Sight Reading room as well.

Traditionally a Saturday in early May, we are preparing to celebrate 89 years of excellence in May 2023.

All band students are invited to attend CMBF, an annual event in Allentown where we get to watch many college marching bands and learn that the music does not need to stop after high school.

Honors Band students and others interested in preparing all of the audition material go to Parkland High School to audition for District Band and District Orchestra.

A casual small ensemble concert held in the band room where students perform in groups mostly rehearsed during concert band class.

Students qualify for various honor festivals. This includes County Band, Marywood Wind Band Celebration, and PMEA events (District/Regions/States for both Band and Orchestra)
