The Jazz Ensemble is open to all students in the concert band program. Rehearsals typically are Tuesday evening.
Some years, other ensembles pop up when timing, instrumentation, and availability allow.
The Jazz Band performed at the Pocono Mountain East Jazz Festival in late March 2025. Even though it was early for us to attend a festival, it was a great experience and we are glad to have the opportunity to perform and get feedback from the judges.
The Jazz Band traditionally plays before a few choir concerts in December. While those opportunities are not as many as in past years, we still had a lot of fun playing for the 2024 HS-South Choir audience.
