The governing board of the El Rancho Unified School District offers you employment as a Substitute Teacher on an as needed basis. Your compensation is payable at the rate of $220.00 per day. Unless otherwise amended by the Board of Education, your services as a Substitute Teacher may begin as early as ________________________ (date).
The District reserves the right to the following:
Release a substitute teacher at any time based on the needs of the District.
Pull a substitute teacher from an assignment and reassign at any time based on the needs of the District. Failure to comply is a violation of this contract and may result in release employment.
A Certificated Substitute Teacher employee:
Is responsible for returning classroom keys at the end of the assignment. Failure to do so will result in a $60.00 charge for key replacement.
Can only substitute in a general education class up to 30 consecutive days and in a Special Education class for only 20 days if they possess a 30 day teaching permit.
I, hereby, accept the above offer of employment as Substitute Teacher for the El Rancho Unified School District and the terms / conditions thereof, and I will report to duty as directed.
