STATION #1

Coding With Indi (TK - 2nd Grades)

Learning Objective: Students will learn basic coding commands in order to program their robot to complete a series of steps.

Be sure to use these cards to help you code your Indi Cars.

Students grades TK-1st will use the lower grade task cards.

2nd Graders will be challenged to use the upper grade cards as seen below.

Wonder Dash Coding Robot (3rd - 5th Grades)

Learning Objective: Students will learn basic coding commands in order to program their robot to complete a series of steps.

Students will use the challenge cards to learn how to program the Dash Robot to drive around a cone or two.

Students 3rd - 5th will learn to:

Open the Blockly App
Will learn the process to creating a blank project.
Add robot.

Use the challenge cards to learn more ways to code the Dash robots.

STATION #2

STEM BINS

Learning Objective: Students will learn to collaborate and problem solve when they construct an object using a manipulative of their choice.

Students will work with a partner as they construct using STEMS Bins.

STEM BINS should not be mixed. Please make sure you clean your work space before leaving.

STATION #3

SQUIGGLE MAGIC APP

Grades TK - 2

Students will create images using Sticks & Rings and then watch them come alive!

Please help Mrs. Ulibarri keep the kits together!

OSMO Masterpiece 2-5th Grades

Students will choose a picture from the app or use one of the images provided. The app will show the picture on the screen while you draw it on paper.

Pick a picture you like
Follow the lines step by step
Go at your own pace
Add your own details and creativity

Remember, this is your artwork—have fun, take your time, and do your best!

STATION #4

Engineer a Coaster

In this challenge, Students will partner up to create a coaster. The goal is for the gear disks to fall from track to track into the goal box. The gears should not fall to the ground.

Please clean up and return ALL pieces back in the appropriate box.

STATION #5

Chrome Music Lab

Students will need their CLEVER Cards to access the typing programs they will be using. Students will find the Chrome Music Lab link on the Clever site.

Students will experiment with music and create melodies using Chrome Music Lab's Song Maker or Shared Piano.

Here are a couple of videos to give you an idea of what you can do.

Attached is a quick tutorial and some examples to listen to.

ENGINEERING STATION

Learning Objective:

Students will to work collaboratively as they follow the steps of the Engineering Design Process to build the marble run.

STUDENTS will collaborate as they construct a marble run.
