Using curriculum developed by the Department for Public Health in conjunction with Kentucky Strengthening Families, EES Family Resource Coordinators, NorthKey Community Care, and KET bring you this series to help empower parents in managing their child's challenging behaviors and encourage positive skill sets that will serve them in school and life.

2024-2025 Schedule
September 5th 5:30-7:00 PM at Howell Elementary
Welcome Session! Together we will review what social emotional development is and discuss why challenging behaviors occur.
October 3rd 5:30-7:00 PM at Lindeman Elementary
During this session, we will review the idea of building a supportive environment and ways in which adults can help children feel safe.
November 7th 5:30-7:00 PM at Miles Elementary
This session will cover how adults can encourage positive behaviors and ways to help children feel connected and empowered at home.
December 5th 5:30-7:00 PM at Arnett Elementary
This session will break down some of the reasons we may see challenging behavior from children and how we can implement positive discipline.
January 9th 5:30-7:00 PM at Howell Elementary
During this session, we will talk about embracing our and our child's unique strengths to empower our children to be their best selves!
February 6th 5:30-7:00 PM at Lindeman Elementary
Closing Session. We will review skills discussed in prior sessions and go over ways we as adults can help support our child's social emotional development.
