Join us for Mass each day.
If you can, why not light a candle during it? Then sit, kneel and stand to participate!
These days when it isn't possible to get to Mass, you might try watching it live on-line. (or on catch up!)
St. John's and many other local parishes such as St Charles' in Paisley or St Mirren's Cathedral also stream daily Mass on Facebook or through Youtube. One strange benefit of our lock down year is to see people from all over the world joining on-line Mass!

in the Catholic Church, daily Mass is always celebrated as it is part of what a priest commits to when he is ordained: Mass every single day! That may seem like a lot, but it shows how close God is to us, it's as if his love is renewed every morning! (Lam 3; 23)
In Mass we offer ourselves, just as we are, to worship and adore God, to renew or strengthen our relationship with Him and to allow his love to fill our hearts.
So it is beautiful to listen and participate as often as we can.

If you do watch Mass on line, Pray this prayer at Communion as a Spiritual way of uniting yourself to Christ in the Eucharist.
You may need earphones for this part: noise canceling if you have them!
This is a beautiful prayer written by St. John Henry Newman and prayed every day by St. Mother Theresa and her sisters. Listen to the words, take our eyes off our own lives and fix them on Jesus.
This focuses more on our bodies and our breath. It invites us to be grateful for them. Thank God for our health.
This short video reflects on some of the ways in which Pope Francis has encouraged people during this time. Listen to the Italian, read the messages, and think about which you find most encouraging.
Join us (and Christians throughout the world) each morning praying through the psalms and prayers for the day.
Join us each morning at 8:30am. What better way to start the day?
Find a quiet place and read through the prayer pausing where you can to think about what each part means.
"There are two Christian responses to escape the spiral of violence: prayer and the gift of self."
