Playzone Training
Brandon was helping us learn how to plan and lead Playzone sessions with the younger pupils in the school. We learned about the importance of explaining the rules in a simple way so that the younger children understand.
We also got to take part in some activities and games which gave us new ideas for Playzone sessions in the playground.

The Pyramids have been learning about Volume in maths. We created our own solid shapes of a particular volume using centimetre cubes. Have a look at some pictures of our shapes below.

We were very lucky to be an audience for a performance of The Secret Garden.

Our new IDL context is Canada!
We have been learning lots about this interesting country already.
On Thursday we completed a task to match the 10 provinces and 3 territories with their facts. We had to go round the classroom to read information about each province and territory and then go back to match the flags and their facts.

Welcome back, everyone! We have such an exciting year ahead in Primary 7 with so much to look forward to.
It sounds like everyone had a wonderful summer holiday. I have really enjoyed hearing about all the fun things you got up to.
This year we will continue to work hard, always try our best and be the best we can be 😁
