In Practical Cake Craft you will produce a range of different cakes to a commercially acceptable standard. As well as developing your practical skills, your knowledge will be developed in the selection and ratio of ingredients, baking temperatures, preparing tins, tests for readiness and cooling techniques. You will be assessed via a practical activity, written assignment and written exam. and you will complete a pupil portfolio/log of all activities undertaken.
