Our annual SUMMER FUN DAY which is a highlight of the school year is on Wednesday 12th June and we NEED parent or carer volunteers to make it happen! 

We will have inflatables, spinning tea cups, bungee bouncers and total wipeout plus an ice cream van and a range of other games & activities for maximum summer fun.

It’s always a really fun day to volunteer whether it’s sunny or a little less sunny! Volunteer refreshments and ice creams will be available to keep you cool and energised.

You can sign up to help on our website in the MORNING (9am to 12.45pm) or AFTERNOON ( 1.15am to 3.00pm) or BOTH ! Check the poster for when your child (ren) will be taking part.

All our fundraising throughout the year goes towards free celebratory school wide events like this which ALL the children can enjoy so thank you for your ongoing support.

Dear Parents

We now have a NEW ‘Rag Bag’ textile recycling bin in our car park!

This scheme has been arranged by the Parent Council to help raise valuable funds and to support our Eco School status and Uniform Shops by increasing recycling rates and helping ensure less material goes to landfill.

The scheme is completely FREE, and the Parent Council will be directly paid £300 per tonne recycled! 

You can HELP US to raise funds by donating suitable textiles into the bin. It’s just that easy! Do the school drop off and drop your clothing donation into our bin! The bin can also be used by local residents to support the school.

What textiles/ clothes can be recycled?

A: We can accept the following items:

•  Wearable Clothing

•  Paired Shoes

•  Handbags

•  Belts

We cannot accept the following items and if donated the weight is deducted from the overall £ raised

• Workwear

• Uniforms (including branded School Uniforms)

• Wet/Soiled Clothes

• Curtains

• Towels

• Duvets or Duvet Covers

• Pillows or Pillow Cases

• Blankets

• Table Cloths

• Linens

• Cushions

We are very excited to announce our ‘SPRING DISCOS’ will be on Thursday 2nd May in the Main School Hall. 

It’s time for our mini movers and cool big kids to get spinning on the dancefloor to our live DJ who will be playing the best tunes and mixing in some fun party games too! 

There are three discos split by year groups:

P1 & P2 : 5.15pm to 6.00pm

P3 & P4 : 6.15pm to 7.15pm

P5 & P6 & P7 : 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Tickets are priced at £3 per child and will include drinks refreshments and a small treat on exit.

All profits go towards Parent Council funded fun activities, events, experiences and new equipment which benefit all children such as the upcoming ‘Summer Fun Day’

As a registered charity, the Parent Council cannot run these fundraising events which create amazing experiences and memories for the children without the help of parent volunteers.

We need 16 volunteers plus 1 FIRST AIDER per disco for them to go ahead so please sign up on the website to help. Just click volunteer on the chosen event, select ‘Me’ to populate your details, add any message to us and click ‘Update’. You will then receive a confirmation email and a reminder. Please check your junk mail for the emails.

We are very excited to announce our spooktacular ‘HALLOWE’EN DISCOS’ on Thursday 26th October in the main school hall. Our resident DJ will be spinning some wicked tunes and mixing in some fun party games too.

P5 & P6 & P7 : 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Tickets are priced at £3 per child and will include drinks refreshments and a small treat on exit. *Costumes are encouraged but not a requirement and please no toy ‘weapons’. 

All profits go towards Parent Council funded fun activities, events, experiences and new equipment which benefit all children.
