3/19/2025- 10th & Penn Senior Teen Leader filmed for United Way!

The United way crew filmed 10th & Penn's Senior teen leader, Hannah R. Hannah, who was interviewed and asked questions about our Read Alliance program, as she was shy but overcame that very quickly and gave it her all! As well as our little 1st graders were also asked about Read Alliance and they did just as amazing as Hannah did! They all gave a special thanks to one of the donors of Read Alliance. 

3/07/2025- Glenside pizza party! 

Annie and America headed over to Glenside RKAA to celebrate their attendance with pizza for our Teen Leaders who work at Glenside Elementary School!

1/21/2025- Lauer's Park Read Alliance Teen Leaders gifts!

 Lauer's Park teen leaders and students received a gift from United Way donated by Godiva!

8/19/24- America gave a speech at the RHS Kickoff with Kaylee and the United Way!

America braved over her fear of public speaking on Monday, August 19th at the Reading High School Kickoff! America recounted her experience in Read Alliance and working with the interns to improve the literacy of elementary school children!

8/9/24- America attends the Read Alliance Youth Annual summit!

America got the amazing opportunity to attend the Read Alliance Youth summit over in  New York city! She was invited by Danielle Guindo (Read Alliance executive Director) and Yvette Russel (Chief strategy officer).
