Do you want to work with Equus?
Here are the steps that you will follow in order to work during Read Alliance and Red Knight Internships: To receive payment for this year's paid work experience, you’ll need to have a bank account. Selecting your form of payment as paper check creates a liability on you if you lose the check, as there is a $30 dollar fee paid by the participant to MMC for a new check.
If you're 18 or older, you may opt to receive your earnings via a Vault Visa Card, which allows for direct deposit to the card.
Step #1:
Fill out the google form that is sent on the Read Alliance/Red Knight Remind's and is available on this website under at the bottom of this page or click here for Read Alliance or Red Knight. This will house your information that is needed by Kaylee/for Payroll.
Step #2:
We will need a photo of your school ID, your social security card and your working papers as soon as possible after completing the application. If you do not have your working papers, you will need to go to the high school main office and apply for your working papers.
Send photos of each document on Remind (@read1026 for Read Alliance and @rknight25) for Red Knight Interns) to Kaylee GRIM on REMIND as soon as possible after completing the google form.
Step #3:
Kaylee will enter your information into a master payroll form. Once that’s completed, you’ll receive onboarding documents from MMC Payroll that must be completed. If you need assistance with these documents, feel free to stop by the Career Center in Room 359 or contact !
You will be given the okay to start working by Kaylee and/or Payroll to begin working.

Please Note the Following!
There will be an Orientation and workshops monthly for students. There are MANDATORY for students to attend. You will be paid for these workshops and your orientation. There is a calendar with these workshops listed on the website.
Attendance is Mandatory!! Your attendance will be tracked and if you begin to miss too many days, payroll will terminate you from the program.
