Key Signatures

I know key signatures can be tricky at first, but they are necessary for every developing musician and singer to know.  So, what do key signatures do?  Basically, they tell you where to find the sofège tone, DO.  Once DO is established, all other scale degrees can be determined, or related to, and sung.  Without knowing where DO is, a singer is intellectually lost, and must rely only on his or her ear to learn, or copy someone else who understands. It's our goal to help everyone understand how to read music and become independent musicians.
