School Council
Sweet Grass School Council
The Sweet Grass School Council is a collective group of parents and staff who work collaboratively to promote the effectiveness and well-being of the school community. We support both the English and Spanish language programs. The School Council meets regularly throughout the school year, and communicate with parents/guardians through SchoolZone and social media. Our key activities are to:
- Inform parents and guardians on what is happening in the school community and how it affects students;
- Advise the Principal and Board on education issues that affect the school community;
- Establish and review school council objectives, plans, and operating procedures; and
- Engage and assist parents and guardians to advocate for student education.
