Through the Edmonton Public School website, you will fill out the EPSB registration form under the "how to register online" heading. You will also upload the supporting documents. This form and your supporting documents will be sent right to our school. * Note if you are submitting a PR card or Canadian Citizenship certificate as Canadian Identification, please submit both the front and the back.

Shortly after you submit the digital registration form you will receive an email from our student services department with the instructions on how to submit the course selection for the student, linking you to a specific staff member for processing and inquiries. ** In preparation for this step, you can complete the SHEP course selection form (below) and organize digital copies of the student's most recent report card / interim marks (you can take a screen shot of your interim marks from PowerSchool).
If you require guidance on what to choose for courses, click on "Guides to picking your courses" and for incoming Grade 10 students, ensure that you choose 4 core courses and 4 options for a total of 8 courses.
NOTE: Ensure that you submit documents using step one AND two before the March 19, 2025 deadline
*NOTE: Completing and submitting the pre-enrolment registration documents does not confirm acceptance to Ross Sheppard High School. Edmonton resident students who pre-enroll before the deadline (March 19, 2025) and who live within our designated area, will not be notified of acceptance as Ross Sheppard is the designated school. All other students will be notified by April 11th, 2025 - please familiarize yourself with the definition of resident student as well as the Level 2 Growth Control Model below.

In accordance with the Education Act, Section 4, student's who are residents of Edmonton Public Schools will be given priority admission over non-resident students.
To be considered a resident of Edmonton Public Schools, a student must:
A student must reside with at least one parent/legal guardian living within Edmonton Public Schools boundaries. The address provided on the application must be for a residence (Section 4.1 of the Education Act) 2 proofs of this address will be requested.
The second condition to be considered a resident is that at least one parent must declare themselves as non-Roman Catholic.
