We are VERY excited to be hosting another jamboree at M.E. Lazerte on August 23, 2025.

Last year's event was our best yet, with 16 teams participating.

Payments can be made by a school or club cheque made out to M. E. LaZerte High School. If you want to use a credit card you can - but it has to be a personal credit card or a NON-EPSB credit card.
Beginning August 21, call the Accounting office at 780-408-9800 ext 5111 between the hours of 8 am - 3:30 pm
You can bring your cheques to the jamboree
Payment for both team entry fee and pre-ordered food (see PERKS) can be combined.

3 games guaranteed, with one bye period (please let us know if you have a special request for this time slot)
- Some teams requested the option for a 4th game - we will reach out to confirm those requests and see what we can do.
Minimum 2 games per team will be filmed by IC Live, and then uploaded and shared
Concession will be available as well (Cash and card accepted)
We are offering a pre-ordered lunch as in years past - $6.00 for a burger, Gatorade and bag of chips/cookies.
LUNCH PREORDER FORM
If you provide us with an approximate number (+5) we’ll order food for you and make sure that it’s ready to go when your bye period hits.

Parking: Please let all parents/coaches/athletes know to please park at Londonderry Mall or in the East (student parking lot).
THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE WEST TEACHER PARKING LOT.
Bus dropoff can take place on 144 Ave
On arrival, please send a coach or parent to the concession/info tent (see attached map) to receive your coach package - includes contact information for the day, food tickets (if you preordered)

SCHEDULE

Warmup/Team setup begins at 9am

Games begin @ 10am. Last game ends at 2:45pm

SITE MAP

Home team will have the choice to go on offence or defense first. Teams will start from the +35 yard line
The Offensive team will have 10 regular plays PLUS 2 goalline plays per possession (12 plays total/possession)
- If the offence scores the ball resets to the 35 yard line.
- Each team will get 2 offensive possessions per game.
- The last two plays of each possession will be from the 5 yard line (goalline plays)
Any turnovers will be blown dead and cannot be returned. The offence will retain possession but the ball will be reset back to their 35 yard line.
Proper equipment must always be worn:
- No exposed or uncovered equipment.
- All pads and football pants - no shorts allowed.
Coaches are allowed on the field, but please be mindful of the number of defensive coaches on the field to minimize interference with play.
- Coaches are reminded to communicate with each other and work together to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Any verbal abuse towards another coach or any jamboree official will result in the offending coach or player being ejected for the remainder of the jamboree.
