JASPER PLACE SPRING LEAGUE
RULES 2025
Game Prep:
1) All teams are responsible for submitting a roster. The rosters will be used to print game sheets so coaches will not have to fill out rosters each night.
2) All team rosters must be finalized by May 6, 2025. No additional players after that date and all eligible players must have played one game prior to the cut off date.
3) Game times are 5:00, 6:30 and 8:00 pm.
4) No switching of games unless coordinated by the league chair.
5) All fans, players and coaches should model exemplary behavior. Any use of foul language or disrespectful behavior will result in an automatic expulsion from the league.
6) If a player or coach is ejected from two or more games there will be an automatic expulsion from the league pending a hearing of league coordinators.
7) No trading or switching players within league.
8) Players can not play on two different teams in the same league but can play on two different teams from different age levels.
Game Mode:
1) Each team is to assign a minor official to run clock or keep score.
2) 9 minute stop time quarters. Clock stops in last minute of game after each score until possession is established.
3) No overtime in regular season. Teams will receive 1 point for a tie.
Playoffs - overtime will be 5 minutes (1 timeout each team).
4) After a 5th team foul in the quarter there will be 2 foul shots awarded to the team that was fouled.
5) Handle in the back court.
6) 8 seconds half court rule and 24 seconds shot clock rule at the discretion of the officials. Officials will give teams a warning at 10 seconds.
7) 3 minute half time maximum.
8) 10 minute warm up pending game schedule and timing.
9) Time outs called from scorers table and must be taken if asked for. Only 1 Timeout per quarter, timeouts DO NOT carry over from quarter to quarter.
10) EBOA has control of game and any appeals of that game must be in written form and submitted to league chair no later than 24 hours post game completion.
11) No zone in 1/2 court for U15.
12) No full court press after 25 point lead for U15 Boys/Girls
