District Bilingual Certificates
In order for a student to receive the certificate, he or she must have taken:
FLA 10, 20 and 30 as well as 7 other courses from which at least two of them are taken in Grade 11 and Grade 12.
Each course represents 5 credits
Grade 10
FLA 10 or 10 pIB + the 3 following courses:
Sciences 10
Mathématiques 10C ou 10C pIB
Études Sociales 10-1
Total: 20 credits
Grade 11
FLA 20 or 20 IB + at least 2 more courses from the list below
Biologie 20
Chimie 20
Physique 20
Mathématiques 20-1, 20-1 IB ou 20-2
Études Sociales 20-1
Total: Minimum of 15 credits
Grade 12
FLA 30 or 30 IB + at least 2 more courses from the list below
Biologie 30
Chimie 30
Physique 30
Sciences 30
Mathématiques 30-1, 30-1 IB, 30-2, 31 or 31 IB
Études Sociales 30-1
Total: Minimum of 15 credits
With a minimum of 50 credits in French Immersion courses, including FLA 10, 20, and 30, and 2 more courses in Grades 11 and in 12, the student will be awarded the District Bilingual Certificates.
