Students' basic needs must be met before meaningful learning can occur. This includes both physical health (physical safety, food, sleep, exercise, etc.) as well as mental health and wellbeing. If these basic needs are not being met...please tell us! We have resources to help.
The most effective learning occurs in class. Students need to be in class, on time, in order to give themselves the best chance at success.
In order for students to find success in academic classes like Physics, it is expected that students spend time doing homework and reviewing for tests. If they do not have time available to take care of these extracurricular academic responsibilities, it is unlikely that they will reach their full academic potential. Teachers are happy to help students figure out how to allocate their time outside of class to help them find success!
