ABORIGINAL COUNSELLING SERVICES OF ALBERTA

Provides group support services and programs for Indigenous individuals, rooted in culture.

All programs are free of charge.

ALBERTA INDIGENOUS VIRTUAL CARE CLINIC

Serves individuals self-identifying as First Nations, Inuit and Métis and their immediate family members.  

ALBERTA NATIVE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE

Supports active member Friendship Centres who, through program and service delivery, engage with and improve the quality of life for urban Indigenous people. 

 BEN CALF ROBE SOCIETY 

Provides Indigenous children and their families with holistic education, supportive social services, and programs of high quality and cultural relevance.

BENT ARROW TRADITIONAL HEALING SOCIETY

The Society is committed to building upon the strengths of Indigenous children, youth and families to enable them to grow spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally so that they can walk proudly in both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous Communities 

CANADIAN NATIVE FRIENDSHIP CENTRE

The vision of the Canadian Native Friendship Centre is toward an integrated, self-reliant Indigenous community who participates as urban citizens taking responsibility for their shared condition in a spirit of health, cooperation and wellness within a strong cultural base. 

CITY OF EDMONTON, INDIGENOUS RELATIONS

The City is on a journey of building good relations with Indigenous Peoples - in the spirit and intent of the Edmonton Urban Aboriginal Accord.  

EDMONTON 2 SPIRIT SOCIETY

Our mission is to re-establish and enhance our traditional roles and responsibilities as Two Spirit people in Indigenous communities while creating supportive environments within all societies for contemporary Two Spirit peoples. 

HOPE FOR WELLNESS

The Hope for Wellness Helpline is available to all Indigenous people across Canada. Experienced and culturally competent counsellors are reachable by telephone and online ‘chat’ 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Both telephone and online chat services are available in English and French. Telephone support is also available upon request in: Cree, Ojibway, and Inuktitut.

INDIGENOUS PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES 

Sliding scale option for counselling, and family circles. Culturally rooted in Indigenous healing.

METIS CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES

Aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of social services to Métis children and families in need. To develop and provide programs which will preserve and strengthen the Métis family. To develop community awareness of and responsibility for the well-being of Métis Children and families.

THE RED ROAD HEALING SOCIETY

The Red Road Healing Society is a not for profit Child and Family Resource Center that is accessible, friendly, safe, warm, welcoming and free. This wholistic wellness programming provided for children, youth and families, utilizes a variety of indigenous cultural perspectives, knowledge and practices  

TALKING STICK APP

Talking Stick is a free mental health app that offers supportive listening from trained peer advocates. With an emphasis on traditional teachings and cultural practices, it provides a safe and effective way to get the help you need.
