BRITE LINE
Brite Line is Edmonton’s first 24/7 mental health and wellness helpline dedicated to supporting people in Edmonton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
FYREFLY (INSTITUTE FOR GENDER & SEXUAL DIVERSITY)
The Fyrefly Institute provides programs and services to support the 2SLGBTQ+ community and its allies. Our work also involves partnerships with various local Edmonton organizations such as the Pride Centre to provide direct services from mental health support to 2SLGBTQ+ education to the community.
FAMILY RESILIENCE PROJECT
Through a partnership with the LGBTQ Wellness Centre, the Family Resilience Project offers free short-term counselling to sexual and gender minority (LGBTQ) children, youth, and families.
IT GETS BETTER CANADA
It Gets Better Canada fulfills its mission to uplift, empower, and connect Two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (2SLGBTQ+) youth across Canada through storytelling and building community. It Gets Better Canada envisions a day when no young person in Canada feels marginalized, isolated, excluded or rejected because of their sexuality or gender identification.

Kids Help Phone is here for 2SLGBTQ+ youth from coast to coast to coast 365 days a year. That’s why you can find resources on our website 24/7 about Pride, gender identity, real-life experiences, sexual orientation, discrimination and more.

PFLAG CANADA
In communities across the country, the Pflag Canada network provides peer support, education and advocacy for a Canada that affirms respects and values all sexualities, genders and gender expressions.
PRIDE CENTRE OF EDMONTON
Provides free drop-in counselling, queer and trans youth groups and supports, family support and community resource information. A variety of in-person and remote supports are available.
REFUGEES AND NEWCOMERS
If you are a refugee claimant or newcomer to Edmonton, Alberta, we urge you to connect with the Settlement Practitioner, who can help you connect with local community and resources, and offer start-to-finish assistance through the refugee claims process.

Trans Lifeline provides trans peer support for our community that’s been divested from police since day one. We’re run by and for trans people.
