Fresh Fish Of the Anemones

Hi my names nemo and my dad is marlin

We live in the anemones that we call aladdin

We hunt, we lure, we eat, we scavenge,

Helping the anemones that's our challenge

Supersonic speed 18 miles per hour 

Helps us hunt our food so that we can devour

We swim, we dive, with fins we paddle

They try to swim away but their flippers just rattle

Anemones got tentacles there is no question

They sting, they shock, they help a lot

Anemones help cannot be bought

When we scavenge it's for food that's close to us

We aren't picky, omnivores, we eat so much

Zooplankton, shrimp, to name a few

Down to our stomach mixing with our acids

Digestion is the name

Letting out poop that is our aim

We affect the sea when we shoot it out

Out of our tushies that's where it comes out

A mix of algae and plankton too, that’s what digestion is all about!!!

Flightless Cormorant doesn’t fly in the sky,

Because they came to this island, and never went away.

They didn’t have any enemies who would want to eat them,

And they had their food nearby, in the ocean.

This bird has blue eyes just like some fish,

Which it eats, like a yummy dish.

But sometimes this bird eats a few eels,

Which sounds to me like a really weird meal.

But hey, it likes to eat octopuses too,

Which are really slimy, and yucky like goo.

It dives underwater to find food,

And its prey are really doomed.

This bird eats, eats and eats,

Then it poops out and that is neat.

That’s the life of the flightless cormorant in a short story,
