As I hobble through these amazing boring corals, with my beautiful lover, how fascinating it is that these corals saved my life many times. Wait a minute… that fish looks exactly like us! The nose, the color… friend or enemy???

“Yo broski, you’re on my block.” I said

“Do I know you, Crody?” he continued “Oooh, hey there, lovely, wanna go out with me?”

“Ew” Katrina said

“This is my girl, fam… also, my corals” I hit him back “No need to know me.”

“Who said this is your cor-” He said

“Don’t make me call ma boys, fam” He went quiet “GET OUT!” I yelled

“What are they going to do?” he started getting on my nerves.

Finally trying to calm down “Lil bro, we both know the rules, me, my girl and my boys found this place first, and we were together from the beginning, so there is no way in heck that-”

“I couldn’t care less about you, or your little girlfriend” after a pause “ I am claiming this as my land”

“YOUR LAND?!?” I howled as I charged towards him with my sharp nose… Miss.

He was bigger than I thought. Does the stripe fool us too? I charge again… Miss. I scream as I feel a sharp pain on my fin, it looks like he thought it was my eye… The Eye! That’s where I am supposed to aim for. I charged again, 10 kilometers per hour. I hit his eye.

“STOP STOP, I am sorry!” He whimpered “I give up, stop!”

I swam back, gaining distance from him. 

“Don’t ever show your face to my corals, my guy.” I said loud and proud

After making sure he left our area, Katrina started comforting me softly with her long nose.

“I love you, honey” She said

“Shut up, I almost died because of you” I responded

And we waddled off to our small cave to our children.

SPLASH! I glide into the water swimming hand over hand, diving deeper into the ocean. My feet flutter in my scuba suit kicking me faster, Breathing in and out, in and out. Blub Blub goes the bubbles from the mask as more oxygen fills it up. Whoosh goes something near me. “Woah!” I shout as it scares me by being so close. I quickly spin around as I see this creature mocking my movements, my turns. Whoosh it swims one way and whoosh it swims the other. It's like it's revolving around me but what is it? Looks like a jellyfish but why aren't there long tentacles and why does it look like an egg? Why is it not scary to me? 

“Hey there bud.” I reach out. It glides away from my hand as I pull back not realizing it doesn't want to be touched.  

“H-Hey” It replies.

“Woah what you can speak?” I say not expecting that getting excited. 

“Y-Yes I don't want to s-scare you” Nervously moving back he distances himself

“No not at all I find it interesting actually” I say.

“R-Really I don't usually get that” The fried egg jellyfish replies shocked not knowing how unique he is. 

“Yes of course so what even are you?” As I scratch my head. 

“Well you might think I look silly but my name is Joey.” He looks down. 

“No no I mean your creature's name.” I shake my head giggling not realizing he said his real name. 

“Oh! Then yes I’m a fried egg Jellyfish.” He chuckles embarrassed now hiding himself. 

“Youre so cool its such a beautiful creature, I can't wait to tell people all about you when I go back up.” 

“Oh does this mean you have to go?” He tilts his umbrella, the head of the jellyfish.  

“Yes, unfortunately sorry man.” He agrees. 

“Its okay I was just on a hunt for plankton, those are such a treat for me.” 

“Nice meeting you, have a good dinner.” I smile my tummy grumbling wanting dinner now as I start floating up to the surface. 

“You have a good day as well.” He swims away 

 I flutter my feet back up to the surface until I reach the top. 

“You have no idea what I just saw, guys!” I take off my mask. 

“What! What!” They all say

“A fried egg jellyfish.” I smile.
