I slowly circle the slaughtered seal and nudge my comrade. We haven’t seen each other in years but our friendship still lingers. As I gently touch my nose with the other bear’s nose, he moves aside to make space for me. I look down and start to chew on the ringed seal, my favorite. For us, communication is key. Just by touching nose to nose, I gave a friendly gesture to the other polar bear asking for food, and of course, I was successful. We are known to create very strong bonds with each other, even if we don’t come in contact for long periods. We care for and have respect for one another.
My mind gradually drifts back to the delicious meal. I envision how helpless and terrified the seal must have felt when it saw the bear coming towards it with its head down, going up against the strongest land carnivore on the planet. From the moment we are born, we are taught how to specialize in hunting for food. Even to this day, I remember the skills I learned from play fighting with my older brother. The skills needed to defend ourselves from the infrequent enemies we may come to face in the future. My mother, always protecting me from danger and warning me with chuffing and braying sounds. But that was a long time ago, ever since I turned five, I took my own journey into the vast Arctic.
It only makes sense to vote for Polar Bears, as they are way more prepared for the outside world than Orcas. It’s embarrassing to know that some people might actually vote for the Orca, even when they know that the Polar Bear will be the clear winner. If Orcas are separated from their mothers they face an emotional crisis where their lives become traumatic and out of control. Polar Bears on the other hand, are capable of living on their own at the age of five. They are ready to go out in the Arctic because of the great mentorship and skills they receive from their parents. Polar Bears are smart, and they can communicate easily by simply hissing or growling with their companions. This shows how dominant of a species Polar Bears are when compared to Orcas.
Orcas are a very social species, they tend to be found in pods consisting from 5-30 whales, the largest pod consists of up to 35 orcas found Southeast of Alaska called the L-Pod. These pods are directed by older female orcas, they identify the greatest spots for hunting their prey, “babysit” the mothers calves while they hunt and set a role model for the younger calves. They are known as the “Grandmother” of the pod because of their vast knowledge and skills. When belonging to the same pod orcas work as a group to achieve their goal, most of the time it's hunting. Mother orcas teach their calves hunting techniques and how to survive in the wild. As the mothers become older they could become the leader of the group. The father is just there to reproduce and leave soon as their calf is born, fathers are from other pods and so that is the reason for them leaving, however male orcas do raise offspring in their pod. Orcas use distinctive calls and clicks to their pod when they spot their prey, some groups have their own distinctive clicks and serve as a family trait. Overall Orcas are very social animals and work together to survive in the wild. One thing that Orcas know is that voting for the polar bear would be the biggest regret of your life.
Frigate birds aren’t usually by themselves a lot of the time, most of them live in colonies of about 5000 others and in hunting groups the number narrows down to about 2 or 3.They will flock into bigger numbers if there is an abundance of food. They only defend the area around their nests, they aren’t territorial most of the time and occasionally on land will allow humans to come close and even touch them. The only special behaviour is during mating season,in which the male inflated his red skin to attract a female,by drumming their beak on this small balloon they can create a peculiar sound. So please don’t vote for the Peregrine Falcon, after all they can’t inflate anything on their neck.
Living around others isn't really helpful to me since I can do anything like getting food, defence and offence alone. Other than my mate I don't spend any time with my own species even my own offspring are not allowed in my territory since I don't get attached or any long lasting love with them. To be honest id rather be alone then depend on others for safety or help like the frigate bird which usually nest together in groups of 10 to 30 with colonies of 3000 birds across the southern hemisphere
Golden eagle is very protective of his kind,he/she alway looks after other golden eagles and they also look after the young one and its own kids. The golden eagle will alway protect his family or his group. Golden eagle behaviors with other golden are they play with sticks or dead prey in the sky. This is pretty weird if you ask me.Their protective nature makes them one of the most feared flying species in the skies. PRETTY COOL
Compared to the canada lynx and puma there always alone, sometimes the canada lynx is with its group but that's only sometimes. Puma is always alone.
Did you know that animals can actually talk to one another ?. To communicate with other animals of our spies and our family members we use our voice to speak to one another so we could communicate with them . We also use our eyesight , hearing and smelling to communicate and touching may happen between the MOTHER AND CHIlD no one else.
The puma is a large wild cat found in both North and South America. It is extremely adaptable and able to live in a wide range of habitats from forests to desert.Slightly more concerning is that most attacks on humans are as prey, not as defense. Thus, there are often signs to warn people going into areas where pumas are common.
Unlike the china tiger being loud and obnoxious, the stealthy Russian cat strategically uses the element of surprise to hunt down prey because of their introverted (lonely) nature. They don't depend on their fellow cats for food or safety. Siberian lynxes can be described as introverts because they are solitary animals. These animals usually travel and hunt alone. As creatures who like to be alone the only long lasting relationship lynxes form is between mother and her cubs. Once they are old enough, they follow their mother onto her hunting trips to learn to do this on their own. They become self-sufficient from about 10 months of age, and they normally breed for the first time at about 2-3 years of age. They generally don’t communicate with other members of their species except during breeding season when they have to mate. During breeding season, males and females communicate with each other through scent marks they leave on the land. "such intelligent cats, I bet the South China Tiger cant do that!!" To sum up everything that has been stated so far, The Siberian lynx does not rely on their species and only Interact during mating season, or when the mother lynx takes care of her kids.
It acts Like other tigers the South China Tiger is strong, fast and a keen hunter South china tiger is COOL they have nice stripes slick fur they can run fast and stalk their prey in vegetation they hunt animals like deer wild boar and cattle they need to be quick and fast when hunting the tiger stripes help them difficult to detect for unsuspecting prey.
