Pangolin

Structural: Pangolins camouflage whenever they feel unsafe or when they want to protect themselves. They have tough scales, to protect themselves from danger, even a lion can't bite through them. They have powerful limbs to rip apart termite nests.  

Behavioral: Whenever they are fighting with another species, they use their long tails like a jagged club. Whenever it feels threatened it curls into a ball.

Definitions:  

Specialist          (Specialist species can grow only in a narrow range of environmental conditions or has a limited diet.)

Generalist        (Generalist species are able to grow/develop in a wide variety of environmental conditions and can use a variety of different resources.

Extinct            (When a species has no living members, which means that the animal is gone forever.)

Endangered   (When a species is seriously at risk of extinction, this means the the species population is decreasing.)

Extirpated     (When a species is completely gone from an area.)

Threatened   (When someone or something is trying to kill a species)

Broad niche   ( If an organism has adapted to an extensive range of environmental conditions for survival, it has a broad niche.The organism can live in various different conditions.)

Narrow niche  ( If an organism has very specific environmental conditions to survive and only plays a limited role in its habitat.)

What is a Pangolin?Specialist?Generalist?

Pangolins are specialists because they are not able to adapt easily to environment and they are very picky when it comes to food. Pangolins also have a narrow niche.
