RACE-TO-X 2025 : Our five player division uses the Race-to-X format with 4 preliminary matches. Each match has a maximum length of 10 minutes of game time. Each team will play a minimum of 8 points.  

Teams will play each match until a winner with scored points is recorded or the 10 minute countdown timer expires. 

In divisions with less than 5 teams, a team may play an opponent more than one time. Teams with the best record of Wins , Losses and Ties will advance to playoff rounds. 

5-Man games play is on SUNDAYS on event weekends.

Game Play:

Teams line up at the start station, and await the count down signal from the referee team, and/or scoreboard software. The goal of each team is to eliminate the opposing players and allowing enough time to hit the "Buzzer" or tap the opposing end zone starting station. 

Scoring:

Teams can secure 1 point for each "buzzer" that they are able to press. It is much like hockey, where you shoot and score a "goal" in the opponent net. Teams can accumulate a mazimum of 8 points in 8 to 12 preliminary games.

TIED MATCH- 2

Advancement is based on MATCH WINS, HEAD TO HEAD Matchups, and TIME REMAINING

In playoff rounds, teams play single opponents in a best of 3 competition. Winners continue to advance. 

Game End:

A game has ended if  game time has expired either by a team scoring a point, or by maximum time expiring, or a team scoring 2 points. If regulation time expires, teams play one 5-Minute overtime point * Additional 1 v1 may be requires as per the RULES
