1. Email attendance@epicacademy.org prior to 7:00 am on the day of the absence. If you are a teacher, remember to include direction on whether a substitute teacher will be needed and if you have prepared plans for that teacher. If you are a parapro, inform the teachers you work with that you will be absent (as a courtesy).

2. If possible, teachers should leave plans for the substitute teacher as directed by the Assistant Principal prior to 7:00 am on the day of the absence.

3. If you think you may be late to work in the morning due to an emergency (e.g. flat tire, stuck in traffic because of an accident, etc.), call Victor at 312-296-7803

Employees who fail to email attendance@epicacademy.org prior to 7:00 am for an emergency absence are subject to discipline, including but not limited to having pay docked for that day and having the hours treated as unpaid hours
