| The hero's journey
The Monomyth, or Hero's Journey, is a path commonly represented by a circle.
Along this path the hero encounters numerous stages which he must overcome in order to progress.
The hero’s journey can be boiled down to three essential stages:
The hero's departure, leaving behind the familiar world.
The hero's navigation of the unfamiliar world.
The hero's return to the familiar world.

Taking the audience on a journey.
Showing the benefit of taking risks.
Demonstrating how teachers learned some newfound wisdom and easily depart them onto pupils.
It can bring the message alive for pupils.
