Long Course season is upon us! Although USMS Short Course Nationals is still a month away, the Ensworth Aquatics kids team has begun training 50 meters for their upcoming meets. We will generally swim our practices LC, except for on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the next 3 months. However, that schedue may change, as it will this Monday, when the pool will be set up SC. I will always try to inform you ahead of time if there are any changes.
Sending out a heartfelt thank you to all of you who contributed to our coaches' holiday gifts this past winter. Although we always feel appreciated and enjoy coaching you at practices, Jack, Dee, and I are grateful for your incredible thoughtfulness.

GOOD LUCK also to Val Bates, who will be swimming April 22nd-25th in the SCAR Arizona Challenge, which involves four lakes, four days and approximately 40 miles of open water swimming! Wow!

Doug Robertson is organizing a project through his church to help the people in Cuba, who are facing a severe food crisis, and he asked me to post this notice in case anyone would be willing to help out.
On April 10–11th, volunteers will gather at Harpeth Christian Church in Franklin to pack 260,000 meals for families in Cuba who are in great need. Every pair of hands matters. There are four 3-hour volunteer shifts available. The goal is to sign up 900 volunteers and raise $57,000 in donations.
Reach out to Doug if you have any questions.
Very cool for ENSW swimmers to be included in the photos used to advertise for USMS Nationals (Greensboro "Social Events" and Sacramento "Order of Events").
