Happy Friday, Masters’ Swimmers!
Sunday was so much fun, let's do it again! Who wants to plan the next one? It was great getting together at Tailgate Brewery (like old times), and it reminds us that we definitely need to get together outside of the pool more often.
Today is the last day to register for the TN Senior Olympics State Finals! Use the link below under Events to register for the event. If you are 50 years old or older, you should plan to enter this low-key and fun meet.

Plan on a normal schedule for the upcoming week; however, the layout for the pool will be 50 meters (long course) for our Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday masters’ practices. The pool will be reconfigured to 25-yards on the remaining days. Use the Practice Sign-Up Button to register for workouts offered for the week of May 10 - 15.

June 29-30, 2021, Brentwood, TN
State Finals Registration is open to all athletes 50 years and older, as District meet participation has been waived for 2021. Click HERE for event information. The meet will take place nearby at the Williamson County Indoor Sports Complex pool, so it is a convenient opportunity to race again.

July 21-25, 2021, Greensboro, NC
UPDATE: USMS is moving forward with plans for this championship meet. The Order of Events is now posted, and it is important to note that there will be changes in the format of the meet due to COVID restrictions. The National Qualifying Times are also now present on the meet site (although remember that you can still enter 3 individual events plus relays without having any qualifying times!). Full meet information will be available in May. If you are interested, please let me know, so that I make sure we have enough hotel rooms. All teammates are welcome and encouraged to participate.

We celebrated another teammate's birthday this past week. In case you missed it, Happy 84th Birthday to Walt Lenard! Of course, we celebrated Walt with a fun “84” themed workout and post-workout donuts to go with Walt’s donut pants.
Lexi Karpinski continues her nomadic travels and is now in Yellowstone National Park photographing bison and the beautiful scenery.
Many of our teammates have competed in running races over the past month with fabulous results! Congrats to Sallie Woodward, Randa Gibson, Marshall Martin, and Claudette Watson. Triathlon season is upon us, and we are sending good vibes to Marshall Martin this weekend, where he will compete in the Dickson Sprint Triathlon. Later this month, Tizgel High, Belinda Kabore, will join Marshall Martin in competing in the Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga on May 23rd-24th.
We want to celebrate all of our Ensworth Aquatics Masters teammates, so please share any race results and photographs with Coach Chris.
What a treat to finally be able to socialize on dry land! Here is our team enjoying some time away from the pool at the Team Social at Tailgate Brewery last Sunday.
