Swimming

EHS Girls Swimming is a 50+ year tradition, going back to 1972.  In that time, there have only been 2 head coaches: Ruth Nisbet (1972 - 2004) and Tracey Lonn (2005 - present).  Until 2010, swimmers practiced at the pool on campus.  Since the major renovation, the team practices at Englewood Rec Center. 

Englewood Swim Team is designed to build lifelong swimmers.  The swim team is a no-cut program, open to any girl interested in trying.  Practice is from 4-5:30pm every day during the season (November - mid-February), with the exception of Thanksgiving and Winter Break.  Currently we compete with the Tripeaks League: Colorado Academy, Kent Denver, St. Mary's Academy, Manitou Springs, La Junta, Salida, Woodlawn Park, Fountain Valley, St. Mary's HS, Platte Canyon and Englewood.
