Personal Data Agreements
An important requirement in the new legislation is that whomever processes personal data on the behalf of IES must also be able to demonstrate compliance with GDPR.
If you would like to provide a service to us then you must agree to the appropriate data processing agreement.
In this agreement, your company must
Only process the personal data according to our instructions
Ensure that all those people handling personal data respect our confidentiality
Specify which other third parties are being used and have the appropriate agreements in place with them.
Assist in the exercise of an individual’s rights under the GDPR
Inform of us any incident that leads or may have led to a data breach
Provide sufficient guarantees that appropriate technical and organisational measures are implemented
Remove any personal data processed on our behalf at the time of expiry of any agreement made with IES
Have some means of verifying and confirming to us that that you are fulfilling the obligations outlined above.
