Problem Statement

Testing cardiotoxicity for new drugs is slow and expensive, so there exists a need for an easy-to-use technique that will expedite this process.

Goal

Our goal is to create an efficient in vitro cardiotoxicity assay device that better mimics the human heart’s cellular conditions, that is:

• Easy to use
• High Throughput
• Inexpensive
• Complementary to existing industry equipment standards
