Durotaxis would also be tested by imaging the cardiomyocytes plated onto our soft/stiff patterned hydrogel and look at the alignment. After alignment is proven we can proceed to use the photeoelectric stimulation method to determine if the activity of the cardiomyocyte cells is changed depending on the exposure to different drugs
