Flow Rate Testing

Flow rate tests were conducted to make sure the flow rates inputted within the computer program matched the actual measured flow rate values. Total volume dispensed over time was measured by measuring the mass of the water dispensed, given a known density of 1 g/cm³ and compared to the expected volume measured. Error was minimal (1.00%) for 0.005 mL/s but increased to 11.52% as the flow rate decreased. Accuracy is good but decreases for very low flow rates. It was likely significantly affected by evaporation and dropwise flow, which would be negligible in actual operation.
