Project Status

Current Housing Configuration

Prior red casing was a bit off dimensioned and needed a revision. We still tried to set up the circuitry just to see how it would all fit together.

After receiving the new prints, the electrical and airflow circuit has been transferred over into the final housing.

Past Week Accomplishments

• Presented to our sponsor and gave a full overview design

• Worked on fully integrating the system into the housing and testing it out

Current Concerns

• Hoping to finish out the project strong and get ready for the final presentation

Sponsor Feedback

• Approves of final presentation and webpage - Might look to make the webpage not public after the quarter

• Would like to see the FSR plots converted to cmH20 instead of voltage

  • Convert to voltage to force and then to pressure on skin

Instructor Feedback

• In regards to the pressure calculations, it might be better to take measurements with a known volume

• Further electrical support should be discussed with Steve Roberts as a resource

• Prepare for final presentations and focus on completing the project

Nest Steps

• Fit all components into the new housing and get it to work

• Test out on Sim Center tracheostomy training dummy this Friday

• Work on final presentation and documentation
