Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

• • Collection Bin in final stages of testing

• • Decided on the size of our collection bin for the microgreens

  • Designed a 10 inch blade to test with the turkey carver

• • Test inserts in the collection bin to soften the impact of the falling greens (Riley, Jacob, Ricky)

    • Find a better hose for the shop vac (Jacob)

  • Test the blade to see if it works well (Ivan, Siu Lim)

    • modify mechanism to have one stationary blade on reciprocating (Ivan, Siu Lim, Ricky)

Risks and Areas of Concern

• • The dual reciprocating blade of the turkey carver is unnecessarily violent for the greens. We're hoping to modify the mechanism to make it on stationary blade and one reciprocating blade
