Welcome to ENFC Vaal. Please feel at home. We trust that though our church, you will encounter God, find fellowship and be empowered to make an impact in the world.
Bringing Supernatural Transformation to our World, one person at a time.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” - Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20)
We transform our world through discipleship in the Word and the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We exist to honour God by establishing Christ-centered, Spirit empowered, socially responible churches and campus ministries in every nation.
We believe God has called us to be in a relationship with Him and to transform the cities where He has placed us.
We are part of a multi-cultural, multi-generational, multi-site and multiplying church known as Every Nation Faith City. We currently have congregations in Potchefstroom, Parys and Vanderbijlpark. Visit the church website at www.enfc.co.za.
Every Nation Faith City is a member of the Every Nation movement, a worldwide family of churches and ministries with churches in 83 nations.
Our heart is to see people experience transformational relationship with God, and then through discipleship to turn into Spirit empowered leaders who impact their world by living out their God-given purpose. We describe ourselves with the following:
Jesus is our Saviour and we believe that whole-hearted submission to Him born out of our love for Him is the foundation of the Christian faith and of all spiritual growth.
We are called to make disciples, our primary focus is establishing biblical foundations, equipping believers to minister, and empowering disciples to make disciples—not conducting meetings, facilitating programs, or building buildings.
Staying true the Bible is important for us as it is God's word: the foundation of our lives and our source of truth. What we believe, teach and do comes from earnest study of the Bible.
We are a spiritual family with authentic and personal connections, and reject the idea of disposable relationships. We choose to walk in love, mutual honour and unity. Both spiritual and natural family is important to us, as such our marriages and children take priority.
We raise up believers to become leaders through leadership development and opportunities to develop their gifts. We believe that you are never more like Jesus than when you are serving others. Jesus demonstrated it by His life, death, and resurrection. He came not to be served, but to serve others.
Because we know God's character and power, we stand on His promises and step out in bold faith.
Heartfelt, sincere worship of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is what defines us as a church. Our lifestyles, relationships, meetings and programs are all birthed out of hearts of worship and drawing our hearts close to God.
God’s heart is to reach the lost, we are passionate about preaching the gospel and doing ministry in a way that engages people outside of the Christian faith. We bring people into God's family and our community primarily through evangelism—not transfer from other congregations.
We believe the life Jesus called us to is only possible if we are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We live dependent on His guidance and power.
Small groups are the heart of our church because we believe that change takes place in circles, not just rows. Discipleship is relationship, and we have found that this happens best in small groups. In our church you will be encouraged to join a “connect group” or to start your own. In connect groups you can expect to connect with others, grow closer to God and develop your spiritual gifts. Connect groups are the primary place where you will find care in difficult times and support in your spiritual journey.
We have weekly services that include people at all stages in their spiritual journey. At these gatherings we aim for people to experience God, grow spiritually and find spiritual family. Services include a time of worship, Biblical preaching, ministry time and fellowship. Kids Church for children under 12 years usually take place during community focused services. It is a safe place where children can experience God and be equipped to follow Jesus in a fun and relevant way. Our community services take place on Sunday mornings 9:30 and campus services for university students on Friday evenings 18:30. Check the worship services page for further details.
We function as a family with different members each bringing their gifts and resources coming together to serve each other and the greater world. We believe that every believer is a minister.
