Small Groups

Jesus had a small group of disciples whom He discipled and empowered. While these disciples did listen to Him preaching and teaching the crowds, He went further and deeper with His small group of disciples. Since we see this pattern of using small groups by Jesus and the early church, we use the same vehicle for discipleship. It is easy be get lost in a crowd, but in a small group we are encouraged and challenged to grow, therefore we have the saying: "life change happens in circles, not rows." 

At Every Nation Vaal we call our discipleship small groups connect groups, because the aim of our groups is to connect with God and other people as we follow Jesus together. Connect groups create a space where believers grow together, encourage & support each other, practice the spiritual gifts, socialise and find community. Group sizes range between 2 to 12 persons per group and meet up on a weekly intervals at various times and locations.
