5012 Testing/Assessment Program

The superintendent and designees have the responsibility to coordinate and develop testing programs designed to evaluate the effectiveness of the district’s educational programs and to provide information needed in working with individuals. These testing programs are supplemented by individual and secondary tests as needed. Testing programs are coordinated through grades K-12 in order to provide continuity.

The Exeter-Milligan school district reports:

The class scores from the standardized achievement test administered annually in at least the following three levels: grade 4, grade 8, and grade 11.

An annual description or list of the competencies, beginning at least in grade four, that students are expected to attain in reading, writing, and mathematics, based upon criterion-referenced and norm-referenced assessments.

No individual test scores or assessment results will be publicly reported.

Individual student test scores or assessment results will be made available to the student’s parents or legal guardians.
