Rigorous Coursework
Challenge yourself by taking rigorous coursework. Consider taking AP courses when available. A rigorous course load will strengthen your academic skills, better prepare you for college and make you a more competitive applicant when applying to college.
Determine A-G status
A-G eligibility requires that students complete the subject requirements depicted on the left with a C or better. ("Credit" grades or "Pass" meet this requirement.) For UC's, the minimum G.P.A requirement in A-G courses is 3.00. For CSU's, the minimum G.P.A. requirement in A-G courses is 2.5. Private college/university requirements vary. Refer to their respective website for specific requirements.
