For more than fifteen years, I have contributed to restorative justice education and public scholarship through university lectures, published essays, conference presentations, practitioner trainings, facilitated dialogues, panels, interviews, and international online learning programs.
My conference engagement has included the National Association of Community and Restorative Justice (NACRJ) conferences in 2015, 2017, and 2019, where I served in presentation and media roles, conducting interviews and documenting voices from across the field. I have also participated in the European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ) in Pamplona, Spain (2023) and Tallinn, Estonia (2024), alongside invited university lectures, professional trainings, and public dialogues in the United States and internationally.
Through Restorative Justice on The Rise, I have also produced and hosted an extensive body of long-form public dialogue, bringing practitioners, scholars, community leaders, justice-system professionals, culture-bearers, and others into conversations about restorative justice, incarceration, racial justice, education, trauma, community, and systems change.
My essays have appeared in print publications such as Current Debates in Peace and Conflict Studies, Oxford (2017) as well as in many reputable online outlets including Open Democracy, Daily Good, YES! Online, TruthOut, and Huff Post, to name a few. My chapter/essay, Storytelling and RJ, is part of an Oxford University Encyclopedia on Restorative Justice, forthcoming.
