After the soccer game, there will be a fun "pick-up" softball game for students and staff to participate in. You can play, or just enjoy watching, cheering, and making new friends!
Gather together to connect with your hall at your first all residence hall meeting. You will also receive important information for the year and will sign the Faith and Lifestyle Covenant as you commit your year together. Check with your RA for your hall's meeting location. Permission must be granted from your RD to miss this event. Non-resident students have been assigned to a floor for this event.
ESU invites you to your first event with the entire student body, complete with yard games, food, fun and a featured movie under the stars at dark! Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy getting to know your fellow students.

Our Convocation Ceremony is time when faculty, staff, and students all come together for the first time to dedicate themselves to the high calling of service, teaching, and study. Students should dress business casual for this ceremony; no shorts or jeans. Dessert reception to follow in the Robbie Pile Dining Hall.

This is a great time to connect with local church, ministry, and non-profit leaders to find an opportunity to serve and Impact the World for Christ beginning right here in Dubuque. There will also be various job opportunities and campus organizations present for you to explore.
