The Internet is the easiest way to find resources. However, it also contains many applications that can teach us how to use them properly.
Useful pages and apps that students can use:
Resources to Identify Credible Sources
Google scholar is better than Google because it helps identify more academic articles that are preferred in academic writing.
Wikipedia is a great place to start your research because it will give you a nice overview of the topic.
Resources to Ensure Correct Citation

Helpful and easy-to-use citation tool of Google Extension found in the Chrome Store taskbar. When you need to cite, just find a website you need for your research and click on Cite This For Me. The tool will automatically create a citation in any format.
Resources for Organizing Sources and Collaborating

Google Docs

Tips from students
In this section, students will share their experiences and struggles about quoting and using resources.
There are not some simple instructions that you can follow while choosing the topic but there are some tips that can be helpful. For example, while Wikipedia is not the best source it still can be helpful, because it can give you a general idea about the topic. You can also talk to your professor and ask for advice. Choosing a topic that you are passionate about is also good and it will make your writing easier.
The most obvious place for looking for resources is the library, not only because you can find many books there but also people who are ready to answer your questions. The Internet is also a good source for texts, but you should verify those.
