The Patrick M. Villano Elementary School Symphonic Band meets every Monday and Wednesday morning at 7:45am in the band room for before-school ensemble rehearsal. The Symphonic Band has their pullout lessons on Monday or Wednesday.

Essential Elements 2000
An amazing practice tool and a resource we will be using often are the individual Essential Elements for Band method books. This book contains information on how to play the instrument, how to read and understand music notation, and a lot of great music for practicing! I will provide printouts from this book, but I highly recommend you and your child look through this book together and print/view the materials!

SPRING CONCERT
SPRING CONCERT
The Symphonic Band will perform at the annual winter concert. Symphonic Band members are required to wear all black for the concert. This year's concert will take place on May 19th, 2025 at 7:00pm. The students will be performing at the Jr./Sr. High School down the road. More information, such as the dress rehearsal, will be posted and sent as the date gets closer.
The Symphonic Band will perform the following pieces:

"Awake the Iron" - Scott Watson
