The Patrick M. Villano Elementary School Beginner Band meets every Thursday morning at 7:45am in the band room for morning ensemble rehearsal. The Beginner Band has their pullout lessons on Thursday.

Essential Elements 2000
An amazing practice tool and a resource we will be using often are the individual Essential Elements for Band method books. This book contains information on how to play the instrument, how to read and understand music notation, and a lot of great music for practicing! I will provide printouts from this book, but I highly recommend you and your child look through this book together and print/view the materials!

WINTER CONCERT
WINTER CONCERT
The Beginner Band will perform at the annual winter concert. This year's concert will take place on December 11th, 2025 at 7:00pm. The students will be performing at the Jr./Sr. High School down the road. More information, such as the dress rehearsal, will be posted and sent as the date gets closer.
The Beginner Band will perform the following pieces:
"Hot Cross Buns" - Traditional
"Three Note Adventure" - Timothy S. Kansler
"Go Tell Aunt Rhodie It's Christmas!" - arr. Mr. Gibbs
