Concert Band

The Patrick M. Villano Elementary School Concert Band meets every Tuesday morning at 7:45am in the band room for morning ensemble rehearsal. The Concert Band has their pullout lessons on Tuesday or Friday.

Essential Elements 2000

An amazing practice tool and a resource we will be using often are the individual Essential Elements for Band method books. This book contains information on how to play the instrument, how to read and understand music notation, and a lot of great music for practicing! I will provide printouts from this book, but I highly recommend you and your child look through this book together and print/view the materials!

SPRING CONCERT

The Concert Band will perform at the annual winter concert. This year's concert will take place on May 19th, 2025 at 7:00pm. The students will be performing at the Jr./Sr. High School down the road. More information, such as the dress rehearsal, will be posted and sent as the date gets closer.

The Concert Band will perform the following pieces:

"Battle of the Primes" - Patrick Roszell
"Gentle Winds" - Timothy Loest
"Grove of Titans" - Peter Terry
"Dragon Slayer" - Rob Grice
