The Wizarding World J.K. Rowling created was based on stereotypes and appropriations of cultures she did little research into. The goal of this page is to offer resources on how her actions have affected minority communities, and to shed light on the inappropriate portrayals of these groups, whether intentional or not.
If you would like to share resources, experiences, or criticism of the series and of our presentation of these issues, please dm @wm_wizmug on Instagram, or share your thoughts here (anonymity optional).
