Introduction

My final project is titled The Need for Speed. It details two street racers who want to test the limits of their cars, but their drag race ends in a way they probably didn't desire. My animation takes place on a highway in the Arizona desert and features two supercars, one being a Lamborghini Aventador and the other being an Audi R8.

This project went fairly smoothly, but it wasn't completely devoid of issues. I wanted to use some low poly models I found online to use as scenery in the animation's background, but many of them simply didn't work. Some had missing textures, others had incorrectly applied textures, and other models didn't display at all. All models I did download and decide to use in the final animation imported without much of a hitch. The Audi R8, Lamborghini Aventador, and police SUV models as well as several scenery models were obtained from TurboSquid and CGTrader.
