What counts as service?
Any club-sponsored project that is open to the entire membership
Time spent planning for projects (not including regular board meetings)
Transportation to and from a project up to an hour (stops for meals, etc., do not count)
Fundraisers where the proceeds go to charity, not CKI.
CKI leadership, though welcome, cannot be counted for hours.

Here are some really good ways to earn extra hours!
Box Tops: 5 box tops = 30 minutes; maximum of 2 hours
Sock Donations: 3 pairs = 30 minutes, maximum of 2 hours
Food Drive Donations: 2 non-perishable items = 30 minutes; maximum of 2 hours
T-Shirt Donations: 2 shirts = 30 minutes; maximum of 2 hours
FreeRice: 1,500 grains of rice = 30 minutes; no maximum time
Transcribing for National Archives: no maximum time
Crochet for Kids: no maximum time (please report after finishing your scarf!) Crochet for Kids socials count as people projects, and can be reported separately.
